Joining MEP’s Naomi Long and Martina Anderson were Professor Colin Harvey of the School of Law at Queen’s University Belfast, as well as the broadcaster and Holywell Brexit expert, Paul Gosling.

Fresh off the plane from Brussels, both Martina and Naomi shed light on some of the more practical issues that the north-west may face in the near future - from cross-border shopping to citizenship concerns.

With the final portion of our morning devoted to Q&A from the audience, MEP’s were asked about the future of the women’s sector, EU funding and what we in our communities can do while waiting for clarity to be gained.

All of our panelists replied with the same suggestion – for women to make their voices heard, to have conversations, and to decide how they want their future to progress.
