REACH Across - F/T Temp Youth Education Officer

Assist with planning and delivery of Good Relations, Citizenship and Leadership workshops in local schools and to REACH Across Members.

The post is for 6 months, with the possibility of longer term, if additional funding is secured. The role includes

  •    Co-facilitating Good Relations and Citizenship sessions in schools (training will be available)

  •    Planning and organising education visits to local and national historical or political locations

  •    Planning and organising general cross-community youth club events for Members

Location:      Holywell Building, Bishop St, Derry

Deadline:      Application Deadline is Tue 8th Sept at 5pm (by post or e-mail)

11am - 2:00pm

This event will feature quiet time from 10.30am to 11am.

 Around 30+ employers will take part and be on hand to answer questions and discuss employment and apprenticeship opportunities.

There will be jobs available in Hospitality, Health & Social Care, Recruitment, Manufacturing and many more.

If in receipt of Universal Credit, you can contact your Work Coach to find out more and to arrange a time to attend.

First Housing Aid & Support can offer support to anyone facing housing issues.

They can help with:

•     Homelessness assistance

•     Accessing social housing/ private rental

•     Issued with notice to quit

•     Eviction support

•     Maximising housing selection scheme points

•     Housing repairs

•     Rent/ mortgage arrears

•     Tenant rights & responsibilities

•     Landlord rights & responsibilities
