Wintertime Mental Heath: Getting Together Club

  • Foyle Women's Information Network 10-14 Bishop Street Londonderry, Northern Ireland, BT48 6PW United Kingdom (map)

We will be joined by Caroline McLoughlin from AWARE NI who will be sharing how to look after your mental health during these dark, winter months.

AWARE NI is the Depression Charity for Northern Ireland.  A Derry-born charity, which now have two offices: one in Derry/Londonderry and a second office in Belfast. AWARE NI has an established network of 24 support groups across the country alongside online support group options.

Support groups welcome people with low mood, anxiety, depression and bipolar as well as carers for people with mental ill-health.

AWARE delivers mental health and well-being programmes into communities, schools, colleges, universities and workplaces. These programmes include their suite of Mood Matters programmes, Living Life to the FullMental Health First Aid, and Mindfulness.

While you may not be struggling this winter, the tips and advice could be passed on to someone you know.

Come along and take part in some valuable conversations around looking out for each other!

📅 When: Wednesday 21st January, 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM

📍 Where: Holywell Trust, 10-14 Bishop Street
