We are delighted to invite applications for a Women’s ReconciliaNation Project (WRP) Training Officer.
Women’s ReconciliaNation Project (WRP), supported by PEACEPLUS, a programme managed by the Special EU Programmes Body (SEUPB), is an inspiring, cross-border initiative supporting women’s leadership, peacebuilding, and reconciliation across Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland.
The project is delivered in partnership with Training for Women’s Network (Lead Partner), Louth Youth Federation, and Ulster University.
WRP supports women to engage with peacebuilding, reconciliation, leadership, and civic life, addressing the legacy of conflict while strengthening cross-community and cross-border relationships.
This role offers a unique opportunity to work directly with women in communities, delivering meaningful, trauma-informed training that supports confidence, connection, and civic participation.
About the Role
As WRP Training Officer, you will deliver engaging training programmes that support women’s leadership, peacebuilding, and reconciliation across Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland. Working closely with partner organisations, you will facilitate inclusive, supportive learning spaces and contribute to the wider aims of reconciliation and social inclusion.
This is a hands-on, people-focused role, ideal for someone who enjoys working in community settings and believes in the power of women-led change.
What You’ll Be Doing (at a Glance)
Deliver WRP training and workshops in cross-border and cross-community settings
Support women’s confidence, leadership, and engagement in peacebuilding
Work collaboratively with project partners and stakeholders
Monitor participation and contribute to PEACEPLUS reporting requirements
Who We’re Looking For
We’re keen to hear from you if you have:
Experience delivering training or facilitating groups in community settings
Experience working with women and/or communities affected by conflict, division, or disadvantage
Strong communication and facilitation skills
An understanding of equality, peacebuilding, and reconciliation principles
The ability to work flexibly across a cross-border partnership
