Introducing Women's ReconciliNation Project (WRP)
Training for Women Network (TWN) is proud to have officially launched the Women’s ReconciliNation Project.
Supported by PEACEPLUS, a programme managed by the Special EU Programmes Body (SEUPB), this €1,615,720 initiative will empower 1,600 women across Northern Ireland and the Border Counties.
TWN has partnered with Foyle Women’s Information Network, Ulster University, Youth Work Ireland Louth and GEMS NI to create and deliver this project across Northern Ireland and the Border Counties.
Women's ReconciliNation Project’s (WRP) primary objective is to foster peace and reconciliation through respectful dialogue and mutual understanding among divided communities.
The project aims to reduce sectarian tensions, and increase cross-community engagement and the empowerment of individuals to contribute positively to a shared society.
This unique project will engage grass-roots women in building peace at the community level
It will ensure that knowledge is shared, thus creating a ripple effect across Northern Ireland and the border counties of Ireland.
