Quilt making at G + T Club

Today, our G+T Club ladies joined our newest team member, Anna, and our intern, Mila, for a really lovely patchwork quilt inspired "getting to know you" session.

Each of the ladies thoughtfully created their own piece of the quilt with things about their lives that were important to them.

The conversations were flowing, and there was lots of laughter. It was great fun to sit back with a cuppa and a wee bun and just have some relaxing fun doodling and colouring in together!

Then, we all had the opportunity to talk about what we'd drawn on our quilt patches and wow, the ladies just blew us away!

We were joined by different women, from different walks of life, who shared different experiences - but as we all shared, we learned that we all have more in common than we think. We're all a part of a beautiful tapestry that makes up our city's culture and history.

So we hope today marks the start of some beautiful friendships for our G+T Club ladies because you all hold a special place in our hearts here at FWIN!
