Meet our fall intern

Mila is a third- year university student from Washington, USA. In the US she attends Macalester College and studies Political Science with a Critical Theory concentration. Currently, Mila is studying abroad at Ulster University.

Mila has been working with us since the end of September and will be here until the end of November. She will be supporting Communications work and assisting the Ending Violence against Women and Girls campaign. Mila is very passionate about creating community through events and programming while advocating for women’s rights and is very excited to work with such an incredible organization.

In her time here Mila is excited to learn more about community spaces for women in Northern Ireland and to connect with as many people as she can. She is dedicated to FWIN’s mission of empowering women through education and community support and hopes to provide support wherever she can.

When Mila is not studying or working she enjoys reading, knitting and listening to music!
